Accenture to Acquire NaviSys

Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has agreed to acquire NaviSys, a privately held company that specializes in software solutions for the North American life insurance industry.  The acquisition will combine NaviSys’ industry-leading life insurance processing solutions with Accenture's deep insurance experience, and its expertise in policy conversion, systems integration, application outsourcing and business process outsourcing.  The acquisition will give Accenture an industry-leading life insurance platform with a full spectrum of processing capabilities, from front-office sales to back-office policy administration.

Updata Capital initiated the transaction, acted as financial advisor and negotiated the terms of the transaction for Navisys.
