University of Maryland Hosts First M&A Competition, October 11-12

The MBA Finance Association at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business is hosting its inaugural M&A Competition this Thursday and Friday, October 11-12.  Teams of four students will simulate a pitch meeting to a judging panel of investment bankers and corporate executives.  Participating MBA programs include:

• University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
• University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business
• Purdue University's Krannert School of Management
• University of Virginia's Darden School of Business
• University of Rochester's Simon Graduate School of Business
• National University of Singapore
• University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business
• Yale School of Management
