| July 05, 2006 | | Global management consulting firm to expand capabilities in financial technology | | Accenture has agreed to acquire Random Walk Computing, Inc., a technology consulting firm specializing in trading system applications, risk management systems and other technologies for financial services institutions. According to Accenture's announcement, the acquisition will "expand Accenture’s custom software integration and development capabilities for financial institutions that trade in stocks, bonds and derivative products." Updata Capital initiated the transaction, acted as financial advisor and negotiated the terms of the transaction for Random Walk. | | |
