        <Description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www3.ca.com/press/PressRelease.aspx?CID=89900"&gt;CA announced&lt;/a&gt; its acquisition of records management software and services provider, MDY.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;font color="#565656"&gt;Updata Capital initiated the transaction, acted as financial advisor and negotiated the terms of the transaction for MDY.&amp;nbsp; CA's announcement states that MDY's technology will work with&amp;nbsp;CA's email management, file management and discovery solutions to facilitate customers' compliance and discovery requirements without data migration costs or large-scale infrastructure changes.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#565656"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.enterprisestorageforum.com/management/news/article.php/3613031"&gt;Paul Shread of&amp;nbsp;EnterpriseStorageForum.com notes&lt;/a&gt; that with this acquistion, CA is making a move into enterprise records management, a fast growing market.&amp;nbsp; Forrester Research projects the records management market to grow at compound annual growth rate of 84% to $1.3 billion in 2008.&amp;nbsp; The acquisition also complements CA's acquisition last year of iLumin, a provider of enterprise message management and archiving software.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</Description>
